Thai Tea & Hibiscus Lavender Tea Ice Creams (No Churn)

Warmer weather is approaching and what better way to cool off than enjoying tea flavored ice creams? It’s so easy and you don’t even need an ice cream churn. Try them out.

Thai Tea Ice Cream

  • 2 & 1/2 cups whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup thai tea
  • 1 inch of vanilla bean or 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • pinch of salt

 

Hibiscus & Lavender Tea Ice Cream

  • 2 & 1/2 cups whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup hibiscus tea
  • 2 Tbsp fresh lavender
  • 1 inch of vanilla bean or 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • pinch of salt

Place a metal or glass mixing bow in the freezer.

Bring whipping cream, tea, vanilla, and salt to a low simmer over medium heat. Turn off the heat and let the tea steep in the cream for a few minutes.

Strain cream mixture into chilled bowl. Place back into the freezer to chill for about 30 to 45 mins. Once cream is chilled beat with a mixer until whipped, about 2-3 mins. Mix in condensed milk. Pour into containers and freeze for a couple hours.
